Host of Gumbe Show on TV XYZ, Oheneba Boamah Bennie has questioned the track record of Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia as he intensifies campaign in a bid to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The vociferous broadcaster took a swipe at the Vice President for his extravagant campaign, wondering where he got the funds from to be sharing to delegates across the country.
“You have destroyed the country’s economy as the head of the govern ment’s economic management team,” he said. “You [Bawumia] said the country is poor and that we could not afford certain things but you are sharing monies to people like groundnut and later turn to tell us that we are in hard times.”
Oheneba believes Bawumia does not have what it takes to be a president in the country, after touting his competence in 2016 and failed to deliver on his mandate.
