I have felt the call to serve – Palgrave hints of NPP Abuakwa North bid

Government Spokesperson on Governance and Security Palgrave Boakye-Danquah has served notice he will contest New Patriotic Party’s primaries in Abuakwa North Constituency next year.

He said his is a “call to serve just like those who have done so before”.

The former Executive Director of Kandifo Institute made this known in a Twitter post over the weekend.

Palgrave Boakye-Danquah has a rich experience behind him as he seeks to take over from incumbent Member of Parliament Gifty Twum-Ampofo.

Aside heading Kandifo Institute between 2019 and 2021, Mr Boakye-Danquah served as Head of Programmes for Danquah Institute from 2018 to 2019.

He was also the Country Director for International Missions Organisation J-Life and also serving as its Anglophone West Africa Director.

Mr Boakye-Danquah was the Country Coordinator for Movement for African Nationals Initiative (MANI) and Lausanne Ghana Young Leaders.

Between February and May in 2013, he served as the Head of Operations for Mission African Trust Fund (MATF).

He has some experience in Marketing, having been the Head of Marketing of Novelty ICT Systems.

He has a Bachelor of Theology from the Trinity Theological Seminary.

He has been involved in committee meetings for the Ministry of Finance as well as Ministry Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.

Mr Boakye-Danquah has attended several conferences from across the globe including countries such as Indonesia, Ethiopia, Nigeria and India.

The NPP will hold its parliamentary primaries for occupied seats in February next year.
