Former Ghana Black Stars player, John Paintsil has slammed ‘hypocrite’ GFA for kicking out late Christian Atsu from Black Stars at age 31 while pretending to love him after his death.
According to Paintsil, Atsu has been struggling to get a permanent stay in a club since GFA kicked him out from Black Stars.
“We all know the value and respect your club gives you when you play for your nation. Don’t pretend you loved him because you don’t at all” – Paintsil to GFA.
Atsu’s remains arrived in the country for burial around 7:30 pm on sunday after it was recovered on Saturday morning under the rubble of the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that rocked Turkey and Syria.
It was also reported that the body was taken to 37 military hospital before being handed over to the deceased’s family.
