I don’t regret my past relationships; They were lessons – Tonto Dikeh

Nigerian actress-turned-politician Tonto Dikeh is again in the news with her continuing feud with her ex-husband, Prince Churchill Olakunle, over the welfare of their son. In the ensuing conflict, we reminisce over her interview with Nigeria’s Chude, where she said she did not regret past relationships.

Tonto Dikeh broke up with her ex-husband, Churchill Olakunle, after accusing him of cheating with his secretary, Rosy Meurer, who is now married to Churchill.

For Tonto, although she may not have made those choices with men, she opines that she has no right to regret it because she chose to be with them.

“Honestly, I have only regretted one thing in my life. But my relationships? No. My first relationship gave me the most beautiful boy in the whole world. The second one taught me that even if you show me, true love, you can still be the devil.”

Her second shot at love with Prince Kpokpogri ended brutally on social media with infidelity accusations from both parties littering the internet.

Should people be afraid of you? “Yes, they should. I’m a very underestimated person. People don’t know what I can do,” Tontoh answered.

Tonto Dikeh is contesting in the Nigerian elections as the running mate to Rivers ADC governorship candidate. She knows her opponent will use her past relationships against her, but she calls that an act of foolery. For Tontoh Dike, her bedroom matters do not disqualify her dreams for Nigeria.
