Beyoncé to bring Renaissance World Tour to Ghana?

Ghana is being speculated as one of the top five countries to host Queen Bey on her Renaissance World Tour 2023. Beyonce has confirmed that she will be hosting live performances of her seventh studio album at selected locations worldwide, with Ghana allegedly snagging a spot.

Beyonce is set to host one of her live performances in Accra, Ghana. Although dates have been confirmed for Europe and North America, Ghana is yet to receive a verified date. But the gossip vine says Polo Beach Club is where all the magic will take place.

After Ghana’s Guilty Beatz’s enormous contributions to one of the most anticipated albums in the world, the Renaissance Album, which earned him two Grammy nominations, it’s no surprise that Queen Bey is coming to the motherland.

Guilty Beatz produced Move on Beyonce’s Album featuring Tems and Grace Jones, receiving a nomination in the Album of the Year and Best dance/electronic album categories.

In 2019 many hoped that Shatta Wale’s feature on Beyonce’s Lion King brings the queen to Ghana. There were even rumoured sightings of Beyounce in the motherland!

Metro.co.uk reported that the source said, “These dates only form part of the experience, and there are talks to see if a more family-friendly version of her show can be taken to Ghana. Shows in Europe and North America will feature ‘mildly explicit’ content in light of some of the lyrics on the Renaissance album.”
